Agenda

1. Call to order and confirmation of appropriate meeting notification

Approve minutes of previous meeting: July 19, 2007

Commission to certify three names to the Chief to fill one vacancy.

Chief to appoint one officer from list of three names.

Consider/act on confirmation of Chief's appointment.

Chief to elect not to request certification of two remaining names.

Motion to void remaining eligibility list.

Consider/act on the future announcement for examination and changes to the hiring process and to establish a new eligibility list for the position of entrance level police officer.

Presentation by Atty. Ron Stadler to the Police and Fire Commission, orientating the members to their responsibilities in a Disciplinary Hearing.

Members of other city governmental bodies may attend the above noticed meeting of the Police and Fire Commission in order to gather information. The only action to be taken at the above-noticed meeting will be action by the Commission.
