City of Oconomowoc Growth Priorities

At a special meeting of the Committee-of-the-Whole on January 8, 2008, Mayor Sullivan presented a listing of his recommendations for the City’s priorities for growth.  These recommendations were based on discussions at various public meetings over the past 6 months.

The priorities were grouped into the following categories:

  1. Municipal Court priorities referred to Council for action by August 2008
  2. Downtown-to-Pabst Farms priorities referred to Council for action by April 2008.
  3. “Other-than-Downtown-to-Pabst Farms” priorities referred to Council for action by April 2008.
  4. Priorities currently underway by staff.
  5. Park and Recreation priorities referred to the Park and Recreation Board for additional study, recommendation, and prioritization and to be reported back by January 2009.  Recommended priorities should be integrated with the Parks and Open Space Plan.

Each recommended priority was rated by approximately 40 people who attended four workshops and expressed their preferences using the following codes:

+    Favorable

b      Neutral

-       Negative
