Important Refuse Information

Veolia reminds residents that items left within 10 ft. of bags & cans on their refuse collection day is considered garbage. Thank you!

As of July 1, 2006 Onyx became VEOLIA ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES.

**There is a new policy which involves the safety of the Veolia drivers. Their trucks do not have lifting mechanisms for the oversize/overweight 45-gallon containers. These will no longer be emptied due to the large number of injuries caused by lifting and/or pulling from these containers.  The contract specifies 32-gallon cans or bags with a 60 pound weight limit.  Drivers encountering these overweight cans will apply a sticker explaining the policy. Veolia thanks city residents for their support as they incorporate this change.
